Victoria’s Annual Symphony Splash
July 31, 2011
This Sunday is a big day in Victoria’s history – The Annual Victoria Symphony Splash. Come join the festivities of up to 40,000 people and share the wonderful memories of the Splash. The event includes musical entertainment, food, souvenirs and the evening’s highlight: a live performance by the Victoria Symphony from a floating stage moored in the Inner Harbour. Family Zone is open on the South side of the Fairmont Empress Hotel from 1pm to 4pm featuring a Instrument Petting Zoo, Bouncy Castle, Balloon Artists, Face paint and more! The Symphony Concert starts at 7:30pm, but make sure to get to the Inner Harbour early to claim your spot! Bring something to sit on – canoe, lawn chair, daddy’s shoulders – and something warm for later in the evening (the Splash finishes around 10pm).
