Most taxi rides in the Harbour will be 1-Zone. More distant docks, such as West Bay, Selkirk and Railyards may attract a 2-Zone fare. Please see the map for stop details or ask any of our friendly staff if your destination is 1-Zone or 2-Zones.

From the moment you step aboard, you’ll be greeted by the salty ocean breeze and the friendliest folks you’ll ever meet. Victoria Harbour Ferry has been connecting locals and visitors to the city’s waterfront neighbourhoods, parks and communities for almost 30 years. Our experienced captains are known for their love of the ocean, passion for storytelling, and unrivaled safety records. Join us on the water and see why our boats are the happiest little boats in the harbour!

Our water taxis will transport you to any of our designated ferry stops within the harbour and surrounding waterways. Requesting a ride is easy! Simply give us a call on 250-514-9794 from the dock of any of the stops below and you’ll be on your way.

Our ferry interiors are quite narrow and are only accessible for passengers with collapsible wheelchairs. All passengers must be capable of taking a few steps while boarding and unfortunately, we are unable to safely transport passengers that must remain in their wheelchair.

Strollers must be folded up prior to boarding and small children securely held by a parent or guardian. However, keep in mind that some strollers are simply too large to fit on board our ferries.

Please also note that dock ramps can become very steep due to tidal changes and access may be limited at certain times of the day.

Dogs are allowed on board if leashed to restrict movement to 2 feet, and at all times seated on the floor, not to be held on the lap or to, even momentarily, be on a seating area.
