GENERAL

Our Water Taxi boats hold twelve passengers and our Electric Ferry boats hold ten passengers.

You will either be on a classic quaint pickle boat or one of our gorgeous electric boats, depending on what is available at the moment.

We are are currently open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, seven days a week.

Our ferry interiors are quite narrow and are only accessible for passengers with collapsible wheelchairs. All passengers must be capable of taking a few steps while boarding and unfortunately, we are unable to safely transport passengers that must remain in their wheelchair.
Strollers must be folded up prior to boarding and small children securely held by a parent or guardian. However, keep in mind that some strollers are simply too large to fit on board our ferries.
Please also note that dock ramps can become very steep due to tidal changes and access may be limited at certain times of the day.

Dogs are allowed on board if leashed to restrict movement to 2 feet, and at all times seated on the floor, not to be held on the lap or to, even momentarily, be on a seating area.

You can purchase tickets HERE, from one of our agents located at the Empress dock.

We offer four ferry hops. Feel free to do as many or as few as you would like. You can always carry on by foot, as most of the venues are close to each other.

No, Pickle Pub Crawl participation does not give you priority seating.
If you are a larger group (6+)
Due to social distancing, we recommend contacting the pub in advance and confirm that they will be able to accommodate your group. -
We will always do our best to keep groups together, but our 12-passenger taxis are not specific to Pickle Pub Crawls.

Billing is up to the discretion of the venue. Please check with your server for more details. Note: The preference for most restaurants and pubs is to provide one bill per group.

No, you get one appetizer for every group of four (with the purchase of beverages). If you have eight people, you will receive two appetizers. If you have five people, you only get one appetizer.

You can still enjoy the pub crawl, but you will need four people to receive a free appetizer.

The trip time between venues varies. Please note that on weekends, the wait at each ferry stop can be longer.

No, it’s up to you! But our captains can help you decide on a route.

Yes, but that will not be considered a part of this pub crawl. We aim to make things easy for you. That’s why our captains will transport you to the ferry stops that are within close proximity to the participating venues. Your Pickle Pub ticket will allow for travel to and from the following ferry stops: Coast Hotel, Empress Dock, Delta Ocean Pointe and Old Town.

Yes, you can purchase alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.

Yes, check availability, or you can visit us in person at the Empress Dock or give us a call from any Harbour Ferry stop and a captain will be happy to assist you!

Yes, larger groups do have a more difficult time getting seated together on the boats and at the venues. Be prepared for long wait times.

It all depends on how busy the restaurant is on that day. If it is a busy day in the inner harbour, some venues may have long line ups or might even refuse service to customers. We recommend calling the restaurants in advance to let them know you have a group coming!

Every group of four will receive a free appetizer at all participating venues. If your group is less than four, you will not receive an appetizer. If your group consists of seven or less, you will receive one appetizer. If you have a group of eight, you will receive two appetizers.
WATER TAXI

Please use the QR code featured on any of our docks to book your water taxi.
You can also buy your tickets at the Empress Dock, located on the causeway opposite the Empress Hotel or at Fisherman’s Wharf directly in front of Jackson’s Ice Cream store.
Our captains sell tickets as well; however, they only accept credit and debit card.
