The Water Ballet began in 1993 when our skippers, inspired by the RCMP Musical Ride, turned their boats into a choreographed performance. What started as a playful idea became a beloved tradition in Victoria’s harbour.

From there, you’ll board one of our harbour ferries and enter the Inner Harbour in formation alongside the rest of the Water Ballet fleet.

• Learn about the history and choreography behind the Water Ballet, ask questions, and receive your very own Honorary Water Ballet Certificate before the performance begins.
• As the boats glide into position, enjoy an unforgettable front-row view as they perform their signature pirouettes.
• With only a limited number of Premium Experience tickets available for each performance, this is the ultimate way to experience the magic of the Water Ballet from the water itself.

Guests travelling together may be seated in different boats. Seating assignments are carefully determined by our Captains on the day of the performance to provide the best experience.

All passengers are required to remain seated throughout the performance.

Please note: All guests must arrive at the Victoria Harbour Ferry Captain’s Cabin by 9:45 AM to allow for check-in and boarding, ensuring the performance begins on schedule. All guest must be able to sit by themselves (minimum 16 years old).
